Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

• Day 1 Arrive Nepalgunj

  Upon arrival at Nepalgunj transfer to the Hotel. Dinner & Overnight at Hotel. Early morning Fly Simikot- Hilsa after that Drive to Purang.

• Day 2 Nepalgunj

  Early in the morning you will be transferred to domestic airlines to take the flight to simkot with packed breakfast. Upon reaching Simikot airport take a Helicopter flight to Hilsa. Drive to Purang (Taklakot). Before Purang had immigration formalities at the Chinese custom office. Drive to Purang (Taklakot). Dinner & Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 3 Relax at Purang (Taklakot)

  Full day of rest in Purang (Taklakot) for acclimatisation purposes. You can do some shopping at Purang market and rest.

• Day 4 Drive Purang to Mansarovar

  After my morning meal, I drove to Mansarovar Lake. Before reaching Mansarovar Lake you see Rakshas Tal from the way. Today is the day of your lifetime as you have the first sight of Holy Mt. Kailash and also divine Lake Mansarovar. Have Pooja as well as Holy bath at Mansarovar. Overnight at Mansarovar Guest House. (At Mansarovar Yatris who want Mt. Kailash Parikrama with horses and porters will certainly have to inform our guide to ensure that he can prepare all before starting the parikrama).

• Day 5 Drive nearby Yam Dwar. First Day of Parikrama to Diraphuk

  Early morning drive close to Yama Dwar via Darchen.. We will load all baggage on yaks and also begin Parikrama. Visit Yama Dwar en route. The Very first day of Kora is a gradual walk of 5 hrs. From the way you have Darshan of the West face of Kailash. Today your night halt at Dirapuk. From Dirapuk view of the North face of Kailash in the distance. Dinner & Overnight at Visitor Hotel.

• Day 6 2nd Day of Parikrama to Zuthulphuk

  Early morning trek uphill Dolma La Pass. It takes about 4 to 5 hrs. After reaching top of the pass 5800 m then trek down to the valley floor. It takes an additional 4 to 5 hrs. After cross Dolma when you move down you see Gauri Kunda. This day is the longest and most difficult day of Parikrama. mentally prepare yourself accordingly. Dinner & Overnight at Guest House.

• Day 7 Third Day of Parikrama. Drive to Purang after Hilsa, if climate permits fly to Simikot by Helicopter.

  Today is the last day of Parikrama. After breakfast you trek down 10 kilometres with the winding gradual track and also arrive at the place called Chongdo. Our transport will certainly grab you and also drive to Purang. Today your night halt will be either Hilsa or Simkot. Overnight Night will certainly go to Hilsa or Simkot. Dinner & Overnight at Guest House

• Day 8 Fly Simikot- Nepalgunj

  Early morning flight to Simikot by Helicopter. Same day I fly back to Nepalgunj (flights are dependent on the weather condition.)
